Vine & Branch Fellowship – 3710 Whittle Rd, Angels Camp

Join us for a sacred evening of worship, reflection, and communion as we remember the Last Supper of Jesus Christ—the night He broke bread with His disciples, washed their feet, and gave us a new commandment:

“Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”John 13:34

What We’ll Experience Together:

  • Communion – remembering the sacrifice of Christ through the bread and the cup, just as He instructed: “Do this in remembrance of Me.” (Luke 22:19)
  • Foot Washing (Optional Participation) – a powerful act of humility, following Jesus’ example from John 13. It’s also a powerful way to apologize and bring healing to strained or broken relationships as we lower ourselves in love and seek reconciliation. Let it be a moment where forgiveness flows, and hearts soften.
  • Worship & Reflection – preparing our hearts for the cross, walking in the footsteps of Christ toward Calvary.
  • Teaching – a short message on the meaning of Maundy Thursday and Christ’s call to serve one another in love and humility.

Why We Gather:

“Maundy” comes from the Latin mandatum, meaning command—pointing us to the new commandment Jesus gave during the Last Supper. This night launches the Triduum, the three-day journey from the Upper Room to the Cross and the Empty Tomb.

As we walk through Holy Week, this service helps us slow down and remember the suffering, humility, and sacrificial love of Jesus, who gave everything to redeem us. We come not out of tradition but to truly reflect on our own lives and realign our hearts with Christ’s example.

“He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death—even death on a cross.” — Philippians 2:8

Come ready to remember, repent, forgive, and be healed—this is what the cross makes possible.
